This classic Southern pimento cheese gets an elevated twist with creamy Duke’s mayo, tangy pimentos, and a hint of heat from hatch chiles or jalapeños—perfect for spreading, dipping, or entertaining in style. A must-have appetizer for any spring or summer gathering.


Ingredients:

  • 2 cups sharp cheddar cheese, shredded

  • 4 oz cream cheese, softened

  • 1/2 cup Duke’s mayonnaise

  • 1 (4 oz) jar diced pimentos, drained

  • 1/4 cup roasted hatch chiles, finely chopped (mild or spicy to taste)

  • 1/2 tsp Worcestershire sauce

  • 1/2 tsp sugar

  • 1/4 tsp onion powder

  • 1/4 tsp garlic powder

  • Salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste



Instructions:

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine softened cream cheese and Duke’s mayo until smooth.

  2. Stir in Worcestershire sauce, sugar, onion powder, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.

  3. Fold in shredded cheddar cheese, pimentos, and chopped hatch chiles.

  4. Mix until evenly combined. Adjust seasoning if needed.

  5. Cover and chill for at least 30 minutes before serving to allow flavors to meld.
